I am a nationally recognized, award-winning artist and educator. Each of my workshops is tailored to the skill level and age of the participants, with a focus on fostering creativity, personal narrative, and material experimentation.

With over 15 years of experience as a National Board Certified Teacher in elementary art education, as well as experience in higher education, I deliver dynamic lectures and hands-on workshops for groups, organizations, and schools. Recent hosts of my workshops include the Kentucky Artisan Center, Fuller Craft Museum, New Jersey Berry Basket Quilters, Philadelphia Senior Center, Sharon Public Schools (MA), Wellesley Public Schools (MA), Lock Haven University, the International Quilt Museum, and the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. Currently, I teach elementary art part-time in Nahant, MA. As an art teacher, I strive to create adaptable lessons for students of all ages, abilities, and strengths. I believe every child can succeed when guided with care, genuine encouragement, and joyful inspiration. Visual arts provide a unique opportunity for every student to learn and grow, as art is both a form of self-expression and a reflection of the soul. I believe art bridges boundaries of age, ability, and culture. Research shows that a comprehensive arts education builds cognitive skills, self-esteem, and problem-solving abilities, helping to develop well-rounded individuals.
